Tabla - Hands Down Best Restaurant in Portland

I LOVE Tabla (http://www.tmbistro.com/)!  We went there for dinner tonight and I really have to say by far it is the most consistently WONDERFUL food I have ever had.  We took the kids and went with our dear friend Jennifer.  It was a little much for Morgan - who just wants to be up and running all the time, but all-in-all it was a really nice dinner.

We started out ordering one of everything on the appetizer side of the menu.  YUMM!!!  I had the Salt Roasted Beet Salad and then bites of the Parsnip Soup (which was creamy and delicious).  Then for my pasta course (all of their pastas are phenomenal) I had the fazzoletti (that had a short rib ragu, tomato, parmigiano reggiano) and then for dinner I had the bouillabaisse which had so much yummy stuff in it I cannot even describe it...so here is a photo:

It arrives without the succulent broth and then that is poured into the bowl table side.  It is so velvety and rich I will be dreaming about it for quite some time!

Anyway, I just wanted to yet again express my sure enjoyment and pleasure at the wonderful items coming out of the kitchen at Tabla Mediterranean Bistro.
